In mid-February 2024, a man reported his son missing to the Tehran police. He said his
son had left home for an errand and never returned. Suspecting foul play after several
days, the father sought help from the authorities.
Initial investigations revealed that the missing young man had been engaged to a girl
but they had broken up due to numerous disagreements. The detectives questioned the
girl, but she claimed to know nothing about the missing young man’s whereabouts.
Further investigation uncovered that the missing man was last seen getting into a car
driven by the girl’s current suitor, an internet taxi driver. The last phone call made by the
missing man was with the girl’s new suitor.
The young man, upon his arrest, initially claimed ignorance of the ex-fianc\u00e9\u2019s
whereabouts. However, he eventually confessed to the crime, revealing that he had
killed the girl’s ex-fianc\u00e9 and that she had witnessed the murder.
He confessed, “I killed the girl’s ex-finance, and she witnessed the crime.” The girl was
also arrested, and their confessions unveiled the mystery of the ex-fianc\u00e9\u2019s
disappearance. The accused said the victim was his romantic rival, which motivated the

No, I saw him for the first time on the day I planned to confront him, but it turned into a

What happened that made you want to confront him?
He was bothering my beloved girl. I had proposed to her, and we were supposed to get
married soon. I was afraid she might leave me because of her ex-fianc\u00e9. I went to see
him to tell him to leave her alone, but it escalated into a fight, and I unintentionally killed
him.

My beloved girl had told me that the victim was her ex-fianc\u00e9 and that their relationship
ended due to constant conflicts. Despite their breakup, he continued to call her. I
decided to meet him and ask him to leave us alone. That day, my beloved girl and I
were in my car when she called the victim and arranged a meeting. When he got into<\/p>\n\n\n\n
my car, I drove to a deserted area on the Saveh road and stopped. I told him to stop
bothering my beloved girl and even threatened him. His response angered me, and we
started fighting. We got out of the car, and while my beloved girl stayed inside, the fight
escalated. I stabbed him with a knife I had with me, killing him.
