On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, a man, suspicious of his wife and believing she was
having an affair with her brother-in-law, murdered his 48-year-old wife and her 50-year-
old sister. This crime took place in Chenaran County, located in the Khorasan Razavi
Province. The killer, identified as Hassan M. by the Khorasan newspaper, brutally beat
the victims to death with multiple blows to the head using a wooden stick.
On Tuesday, July 30, the man had contacted the Radkan Police Station, claiming that
his wife had threatened him. The police visited the location and advised him to leave the
house. However, the next morning, he returned home and, after killing his wife and
sister-in-law, fled to Mashhad. He was quickly apprehended by the police forces. During
initial interrogations, he stated that his motive for committing the crime was suspicion
towards his wife and her brother-in-law relation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
