after being repeatedly stabbed with a knife.
According to Borna News, Tohid Farsi, the police chief of Maragheh, confirmed the
incident and stated: \u201cThe man killed his wife with a knife due to \u2018family disputes\u2019.\u201d
The terms “family dispute” and “family killing” are frequently used by state-affiliated
media and officials in an attempt to deflect responsibility from the government for these
recurring acts of violence.
The 43-year-old suspect fled the scene after committing the murder, but was arrested
within four hours in a nearby city. During initial interrogations, he confessed to killing his
wife, citing family-related tensions as the motive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
