The exhibition features&nbsp;posters depicting victims of honor killings and raises awareness of the&nbsp;global campaign to prevent and end gender-based violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Rezvan Moghaddam is a lecturer, scholar and women\u2019s rights activist with over 40 years of experience in social change. She is an active member of the Iranian women\u2019s rights movement and has set up various associations, groups and committees to empower women on issues of peace, environment, health and the prevention of gender based violence.<br><br>Dr. Moghaddam is a founding member&nbsp;of the \u201cOne Million Signatures\u201d campaign in Iran, which aims&nbsp;to collect one million signatures in support of changing discriminatory laws against women in the country. As a result of her social activities, she was arrested by Iranian security forces on multiple occasions, harassed, and banned from teaching or presenting her research. In 2007, right before International Women\u2019s Day, she was charged with \u201cacting against national security\u201d and \u201cconspiracy\u201d in Iran.
