Yaser Abdel Said was taking his two daughters to dinner when he shot them in the back of a taxicab outside the Omni Hotel in Irving. When Amina and Sarah were younger, they told police that their father was sexually abusing them. In December 2007, their mother, Patricia, decided it was time to take her daughters and leave Said. The girls and their mother hid in Oklahoma for a few days. But, on New Year\u2019s Eve 2007, Patricia went back to Said. Their father killed them because he believed their lifestyles were different from his. Amina was shot twice in the chest. Sarah, the younger daughter, was in the backseat and was shot nine times.
