Killing of a 17-Year-Old Girl from Jask: A Victim of Child Marriage

Killed by Her Husband

A 17-year-old Baloch girl with the last name “Hooti” from Jask (Gabrig Rural District,
Nouroozkar Village) was killed by her husband. The girl, a victim of child marriage, was
murdered by her husband with knife wounds on the night of April 12, 2024.
Human rights sources report that her husband, who was also addicted to
methamphetamine, severely wounded her with multiple knife strikes on the night of the
incident and confined her in the house. On the morning of April 14, concerned for her
daughter, the victim’s mother went to her house, broke down the door, and found her
daughter lifeless and covered in blood.
