Galaleh held a law degree and worked in a law office. She was killed a few months after her engagement to Kiomars Zarghami. Kiwmars was opposed to Galaleh’s employment and preferred his fiancé to be a housewife. He took her out of town a few months after her engagement, and after beating her, killed her and set her body on fire.
