USA – Massachusetts: Christa Leigh Steele-Knudslien, 42-murdered by her husband,2018

Christa Leigh Steele-Knudslien was a well-known LGBTQ advocate in North Adams, Massachusetts. She was allegedly stabbed and beaten to death in her home by her husband, Mark Steele-Knudslien, who later went to the police and admitted to killing his wife. After being charged with her murder, he pled not guilty in court.
