USA – Missouri: Nina Pop, Transgender Woman, 28-killed on May 3, 2020

Pop’s body was found on a Sunday night in her apartment. “She was always happy,” her friend Emory McCauley told the station. Sikeston police have not determined a motive but are considering the possibility that her death was a hate crime. The Human Rights Campaign called for action to address violence against Trans Americans. No arrest has been made.
