Alireza Fazeli Monfared was killed by his brother and his cousins. They left his lifeless body under a palm tree then called his mother to inform her where they had left his body. The men of Alireza’s family considered his sexual orientation a “crime” and a disgrace to the family, so he was killed in the name of “honor.” Alireza was full of love and believed in living a free and authentic life. His only “crime” was loving beauty and life.
