Ariana Lashkari was Killed by Her Father in Noorabad Mamasani!
Once again, cyberspace was filled with news of a girl murder, a child, whose crime was that her place of birth was not her choice. Ariana Lashkari, a 16-year-old girl from Noorabad, Mamasani city in Fars province, was killed by her father named Mohammad Kazem Lashkari with a hunting gun on Monday, June 27th, 2022. “Ariana’s father killed his teenage daughter with a shotgun.” an informed source told HRANA.
Her funeral was held in Behesht-e Zahra in Noorabad at 6:30 PM on Tuesday June 28th, 2022. Since May 19th, 2020, when Romina Ashrafi was killed by her father with a pruning hook, hundreds of women in Iran have been killed by their male relatives.
According to Article 301 of the Islamic Penal Code, fathers or father side grandparents are sentenced to short-term imprisonment if they kill their child or grandchild. For example, a father who beheaded his 6-year-old daughter in Ahvaz and toke a turn in the city with his daughter head, was sentenced to 4 years in prison just for the general crime. Romina Ashrafi’s father was sentenced to 9 years in prison. Romina Ashrafi’s father had investigated the punishment for the killing of his daughter before committing the crime, and knowing that he was not facing much punishment, he killed his only daughter.
