Iran – Hamedan: Leila Shakiba, 39-killed by her husband-October 15, 2021

Leila Shakiba, a mother of two children, was stabbed to death by her husband, Bahram Bakhtiari. He was detained by police, but no court decision has yet been made. Leila intended to separate from Bahram. Many men consider themselves the owners of a woman’s body and soul and consider divorce a disgrace.
