Another News About honor Killing in Urmia
March 2021, according to the Stop Honor Killings Campaign reporter from Urmia, last week, Azizeh Haghi Ayoubi, 38, a mother of four children, was brutally killed by her husband, Qirman Darvish, in the slaughterhouse. The killer family, while supporting their son, reflects the motive for the murder to be “honor” and believes their bride deserved the death!
This is the second news of honor killings from Urmia in the past month. On February 6th, 2021, two human rights organizations reported that a young woman named Eshrat Nikkhoei had been killed by her brother and father in the village of Gangchin in Urmia, for the “honor” reason.
