Family Dispute is the Code Name for Honor killing
According to information received, on Friday June 4th, 2021, another woman was killed with a knife by her husband in Ilam. The 35-year-old man killed his wife with a cold weapon (stabbing). During the initial interrogations, the defendant confessed to killing his wife and that the reason and motive for the murder were family disputes with his wife. The murder of women often follows the suspicion and sense of male ownership of the body and soul is the reason for honor killings.
