15-Year-Old Afghan Girl Was Killed by Her Father in Germany

After the body of a 15-year-old Afghan girl was found in the Rhine River in Worms,
police became suspicious of the victim’s family. The 34-year-old mother reported her
daughter’s disappearance to the Pirmasens police station, and within less than 18
hours, the police found the girl’s body in the Rhine River. According to the police, this
murder occurred on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
After killing their daughter, they disposed of her body 150 kilometers away from the
crime scene by throwing it into the river.
With the discovery of the girl’s body, police suspected the 39-year-old father and the 34-
year-old mother. During their interrogation, it was revealed that the family had come
from Afghanistan and was living with their daughter in Pirmasens. The parents stated
that she did not obey them, lived a Western lifestyle, and brought shame upon them.
According to the police, the parents decided to kill their daughter because they did not
agree with her lifestyle. The 15-year-old girl’s parents are in custody for further
investigation.
According to the Afghanistan Information Network, this is the third murder committed by
Afghans in Germany in the past two weeks.
