On Sunday, June 23, 2024, a young woman was killed by her husband in Maneh and
Samalqan County, North Khorasan province.
According to ISNA, the suspect has been arrested and cited family disputes and
arguments with the victim as his motive for the crime. Media outlets close to the
government often use the vague term “family disputes” to describe the motive for such
murders.
