On Thursday, December 5, 2024, a woman was brutally stabbed to death in the Jahrom
bazaar in front of horrified onlookers. The attacker fled the scene immediately after the
incident.
According to Hamshahri Online, initial investigations and eyewitness testimonies
revealed that the assailant was the victim’s ex-husband, who committed the killing over
“personal disputes.”
The Jahrom Police Chief stated, “Following the launch of investigations, the suspect’s
hideout was identified and the perpetrator was arrested in less than an hour.”
