Horrific Killing of Two Tabrizi Sisters in Miandoab: A Crime by a
Furious Fiancé
On Thursday, December 5, 2024, a man in Miandoab brutally stabbed his fiancée,
Mahdessa Jadidat (19), and her sister, Hadessa Jadidat (17), to death, also injuring
another individual. The killer committed this heinous act after Mahdessa decided to
separate from him and requested a divorce.
Following the separation request, the man went to Mahdessa’s home and, in a violent
and merciless attack, stabbed her and her sister to death. During this incident, a third
person was injured but fortunately survived.
The attacker was arrested a few hours after fleeing the scene. Reports indicate that his
motive for the double murder was Mahdessa’s decision to end the relationship. This
appalling crime has sparked widespread reactions on social media and in society, with
many calling for justice and severe punishment for the perpetrator.
This brutal act underscores the dangers of domestic violence and the societal pressures
that perpetuate control over women’s bodies and decisions.
