Ishrat Nikkhouei was the mother of three children and hailed from the village of “Gangchin” in Urmia. Ishrat was recently forced to divorce her husband and live in her parents’ house due to the public release of her private film with a man. She was killed by her brother and father with the motive to restore “honor” to the family. After killing her, they set her body on fire.
