Iran – Kurdistan: Bayan Moradi and her sister Sahar Moradi,killed by Bayan’s husband-July 2021
In a park in the Hajiabad neighborhood of Sanandaj, two sisters, 40 years old Bayan Moradi, a mother of three children ages 18, 13 and 8, and her sister Sahar Moradi, were shot to death by Bayan’s husband, Ismael. Bayan Moradi asked her husband for a divorce and returned to her father’s house. After a verbal argument and fight, Ishmael killed Bayan with a Kalashnikov. He first killed Sahar, then Bayan and then ran away.
